Required Exams & Training for New Candidates
Become experienced with vSphere 6 and Horizon 7. A minimum of 6 months is recommended.
Attend one of the following required training courses:
VICM7: VMware Horizon 7: Install, Configure, Manage [V7.7]N/A
VHICMAP: VMware Horizon 7: Install, Configure, Manage plus App Volumes Fast Track [V7]N/A
VMware Horizon 7: Troubleshooting and Performance Optimization [V7]
Pass either the vSphere 6 Foundation Exam or vSphere 6.5 Foundations Beta Exam
Pass the VMware Certified Professional 7 - Desktop and Mobility Exam
Required Exams & Training for Existing Candidates
PATH 1 - For those with a current VCP6-DTM Certification
Pass the VMware Certified Professional 7 - Desktop and Mobility Exam
PATH 2 - For those with a VCP Certification for any solution track that has not expired
Pass the VMware Certified Professional 7 - Desktop and Mobility Exam
PATH 3 - For those who hold an expired VCP Certification for any solution track
Attend one of the following required training courses:
